Looks like I missed all the fun earlier

Favorite all time? Honestly Im still pretty young, but I have a lot of fond memories of watching Hasek. Seems like even then I was totally blown away sometimes. He was unreal. Kinda a Richard, but crazy at hockey.

Today is not the first day of existence, and people do have a track record of what they have said and done in the past. This leads to the concept of a reputation. And in my opinion one's reputation is valid grounds from which to draw conclusions about one's motives and true loyalties. It would be ignorant to not consider past experience in current evaluations, as logically this would result in there being no knowledge.

I do agree that it was in bad taste to single someone out directly, especially when the audience I was appealing to would be more than capable to figure that out for themselves. So I do apologize for that. But I would like it to be noted that certain bloggers have reputations of what is IMO unjustly detracting from our own teams players. And their support for such claims is often that our players production is not on par with their fantasy du juor of what they should be.

Also, I am not telling anyone Kaleta must be your favorite player, but I do question the morality (set of values) of anyone who does not admire selflessness, courage, hard work and dedication. And as far as I can see these are all evidently seen as attributes of Kaleta. I have seen no evidence of any behavior that could be used to argue that, even though Kaleta is A, B and C, all good, he is no good because of X. So, if Kaleta exhibits many characteristics that we as a society agree are admirable, and no characteristics that are dishonorable, than how could you justify not admiring(i.e. being a fan) of him? Unless your value system is biased by ignorance and irrationality, I can see no other way.

As a coach, I agree. As a fan, I don't care for Hitchcock's style much.

I couldn't stomach the flyers pens series. Didn't even seem like hockey.

Generally I really like watching Malkin too.
