when he gets 'there' he will be very, very good and will be the face of the franchise IMO
- Sabres2012CUP

IMO Foligno is most likely going to be a very good third line wing who can fill in on a second line if injuries occur. Hopefully I'm wrong and he becomes a 20g/30a winger.

You mean Foligno isnt going to be a 70 pt winger?
- Rally_Shots

3rd line guy that can play 2in line mins in a pinch much like Ott.

20/20 guy that will play the pk, see 2nd unit pp time, and bring sandpaper game in, game out.

I think his ceiling is second line winger, but will most likely end up on the 3rd. Like I said hopefully I'm wrong and he makes it full time in the top 6.

You are selling Foligno short then. Outside of screening goalies and tipping shots Holmstrom was a huge beneficiary of awesome Red Wing teams. He was a very limited player.

All time? Perrault.. No question. I missed his early years, but got to watch him live when I was younger. My mom would tell me stories of him skating circles around D-men.

My generation? Close second is Peca, but Hasek is my guy. Only named jersey I ever purchased

Maybe so... BUT.... Holmstrom is a playoff beast. I like his game.. Get in front, take a beating, score. If Foligno can do that, and more, I will be a happy camper

All time for me is "the line forms behind Gilbert Perreault". Boy, if he could have played in the first season after the lockout....

Fav player who never played for buffalo? Hmmm.. Tough Question... Easy answer is Gretzky or Lemeuix.... I have a hockey man crush on Rick Nash, and was drooling over his trade prospects... Now I hate him for going to the Rangers....

It has to be Mike Modano. LOVED the way he skated... So smooth... Great player

- edwinsagain

modano was awesome. i loved that dallas team the year 98-99 but then hated them dearly 99-00 lol. yeah i played defense so i liked brian rafalski, still do.

I really liked LaFontaine but the Sabres got robbed of seeing his true talent for more than a couple years. He had a huge season the year we won the 2nd cup or the year after.
