There you go it did take me 2 seconds to find this. There is a reason why he asked for a NTC when he resigned. I do listen to the Team all the time while I drive so lots of guys like gallagher, friedman come on all the time and mention things. - Bluechip23
look at that article. Its from 2 yrs ago guy. As far as I know At no point last yr were there any Bieksa trade rumors. Now since you jumped all over me about my "credibility" please post a link or don't call people out |

I don't think there was any credible soarces saying Bieksa would be dealt. Please post one. - Bieksa#3

This is also Bieksa talking about all the rumors of him being traded. Really dude your credibility is at an all time low. Maybe you should use the internet next time. |

If you go back and read what I said I mentioned it from 2 years ago he was on the block not from last year. It was the same year he signed his big contract which was in 2010/2011 season. Thats the same year salo got injured at the deadline and they decided they should keep him.
I never once said last year 2011/2012 season. I was always speaking about the 2010/2011 season.

If you thought I mentioned the year that just happened I consider that the current year. When I mentioned last year i meant 2010/2011. Sorry for the confusion.

Top 5 players on trade market remaining: B.Ryan, K.Yandle, R.Luongo, J.Bernier, J.Bouwmeester - VANTEL
And they all remain there because their teams asking price is way too high. No one values them enough to give up what their teams are demanding. |

He signed a NTC when he resigned with Van so essentially he will never get traded now unless he wants out. Dont get me wrong I think trading bieksa would be a huge mistake and was very happy when the canucks didnt deal him. So I am not implying he is a bad player. I think he is the leader of the team and nucks need more players like him with a mean streak to win in the playoffs. |

This is the problem with this arguement.
We tell you the money that the Leafs make from making it to the playoffs will pay his salary . Then Leaf fans chime in, Leafs don't need the money they are stinkin rich and then you complain that you would have to bury 6 mil over the last 4 years (1.5 average) in the minors if he decides to live out his contract? Consistency would sure help. You can't have it both ways. This is why it just seems like the same old poop every day with Leaf fans. - VANTEL
My only issue with 'Burying people' or buying them out or whatever, is the affect it may have on future players coming to your team. If you just bury someone because you can, i'm not sure Johnny Big Free Agent will sign for us, knowing he may only play half of his contract and rest in the AHL.
I understand the irony of our FA signings, but it won't improve just buying people out left, right and centre |

I have never once stated on here that Bieksa doesn't have brain farts, I did state he is a better all around player then Ehrhoff. My 2nd favorite player is Kesler. I have mentioned numerous times he needs to knock off the drama crap. All the way back to the Ladd thing. I would be fine if Gillis dealt both if we clearly won both deals |

Really? I see why your team ends up in the bottom 5, every year
You guys have an answer for everything .Stupid answers but still answers. You are trying to tell me that Leafs don't want to make the playoffs for then next 5 years because in year 7 Johnny Big Free Agent won't sign because Roberto Luongo is goalie of the Marlies making 1.5 per year
Sorry I have to rate this as one of the dumbest excuses I have heard on this site. There is no talking sense here. If you don't want Luongo man up and say you don't like him .Don't make up BS like this. |

Lol 2 things here
1) it may not improve your team, but if you looked at your roster, you'd see that it couldn't really hurt YOUR team.
2) Colby Armstrong
P.S. Is Darcy tucker's buyout still counting against your cap?...I know it was last year...

I said Erhoff was behind the other 3 on the depth chart. The first post I failed to mention he moves the puck well, but said he does in my 2nd post. I never once said we replaced him, or that anybody can. How am I talking about of both sides of my mouth? My issue is you whining about other guys playing soft, diving and mailing it in in the big games. Yet defending Ehrhoff. I never nice raved about Bieksa in my post. Merely stated he is above Ehrhoff on the depth chart - Bieksa#3
Give me some examples? Who was I saying played soft and mailing it in? You are talking out the side of your mouth...not me. If you remember a conversation or twom lets hear it. If me pointing out what you admit you failed to account for is any kind of a desire to have a certain type of negative person on the team,,, then you are being seriously near sighted. It's not about who, but what...
I'm not a big Ehrhoff fan at all but never once dismissed what the team would be missing without his offensive tools and mobilty. He really fit well with the Sedins...more than people give credit for. I would take any dman that offered that right now simply because it was severly missed last season.
You assume too much from facts being presented. Not everyone thinks in the "biggest fan" mindset.

There was a lot of Bieksa trade talk two seasons ago. How could anyone in this market not remember it? That was the summer Ballard was brought in. They never planned on Ballard being a 5/6/ and sometimes healthy scratch Dman obviously at 4+ mil. There were plans to move somebody and like the reports say, Bieksa didnt have a NTC and was due for a decent raise.
Once Edler broke his hand and Salo got hurt...it was all wahsed away. They didnt want to chance it. They ran a long playoff run and Bieksas best season as a complete Dman. It payed off short term very well not making the trade.

In past playoffs you are one of the biggest sedin bashers for how they played against the hawks and even the preds last yr. Again how am I talking out of both sides of my mouth? And I have never mentioned we don't need a puck mover. I said Ehrhoff wasn't our #2. That he was our number 4. |

You are absolutely wrong! I am one of the Sedin defenders...always have been and first to admitt they exceeded my already high expectations when the trophies started to roll in. Ive never bashed them...EVER!!!
Nobody will back you on your Sedins claim.
Your problem here is obvious. You know my opinion of Bieksa(or think you do) so you generalize what all of my opinions are like. You go on about what I think and say but are not even close... it`s how you roll. Just like the other day when you did your little routine about how stupid I was without even mentioning which one of the dozen different things I said on the thread had you upset. Hit and run without anyhting to back it up. Your style.

Three way proposal (boredom)
To Ana Luongo Jensen Edler
To Vancouver Ryan Hiller
To Tor Hiller Sauve
To Van Gunnarsson Bozak
Van gets a top 6 forward 3rd line center and top 4 D |
