- Flyfreaky I was hoping they could build a defensive wall around him. Now what? We get to see opposing forwards drive the net with Eric Gustaffson being dragged behind or watch them diddle around Andreas Lilja before getting a clear shot at Mr Universe. ugh!

In all honesty though, this was a major test. Poile has said all season and summer that they would match any offer given to Shea....even this monster ass contract. Regardless, it worked out for the Preds. We are giving him a boat load of cash on a front loaded contract, but we have signed a franchise defenseman as a lifer, and its our Captain nonetheless. We can build around that just fine... |
