At least from what I saw on HBO, Lavy does seem like a tough coach, but he also seems like he genuinely loves and cares about what happens to his players. Maybe that part of his act is a bit different as he has learned from past failures and lessons.

You can be a tough coach and still be a players coach. After HBO I found myself wanting to play for a guy like Lavi if I was a player.

Torts would just piss me off.

"Take the shortest route to the puck carrier, and arrive in ill humor."

I'm lovin' it. I had the pleasure of meeting him in 1976 and he was kind enough to converse with me for a few minutes. It's a travesty that he isn't in the HOF. I'm biased because I saw them win the Cup but he'll always be my favorite coach.

Crims. Thanks for posting that video. Instead of watching one part, I ended up watching the entire video. Great video.

He ranks as the most vain. The next time I have to stare at his ugly bald head through his thinning hair-sprayed hair... lol
actually, it seems he has finally seen enough of this too, and has stopped using excessive hair products, or at least started brushing it out so that what hair he does have doesn't clump together making him look like a chemo patient. Or maybe he just started powdering his head, so that the tv cameras don't pick up the glare as much.

When Laviolette gets fired in December, Murray will be back as head coach. I mean, Lavy's getting ready to sign an extension, you know his head's in the noose for sure now
- Jsaquella

thats how it seems to go isnt it? Stevens had zero control in the locker room. Barber? I guess he tried too hard to have control. Neither was a great coach IMHO. I liked Hitchcock.

His hair is quite enigmatic. Without hair products, his mane looks full and lush. With them, he looks as you said. Perhaps it's a side product of excessive and vigorous gum chewing.

Either way, he has more hair than your coach.

Nope. Jackson Heights own Randy Watson. You might know him as Joe the Policeman from the What's Goin Down episode of That's My Momma
