I got banned for telling someone to chill out with our hockey brethren. I was banned because I was told that I cant tell someone what to do.

I have a feeling that someone thought brethren meant Richard.

I would have been better off telling someone to punch their own nutsack, which is not an offense under the COC.

Take it up at Hockeybuzz court. You have the right to defend yourself and get that ban overturned. I wouldn't put the odds high but its worth a shot.

Thanks Bill....I don't post much but I never miss one of your blogs. You are simply the best.

I don't know if it's possible to get the cooperation from players but I always enjoy hearing about certain players off-season training plans. For example, are the Schenn Brothers currently training together? What type of training? I heard Luke was criticized in the past for becoming bigger but slower. How about Meszaros, is he at 100% from back surgery and training/skating? Are Giroux's wrists healed to begin training?

I think this kind of stuff makes for good July/ August reading as we wait for September training camp!

Most people that are referee's havent been banned. So with that on your record you have ZERO chance of being one down the line (is my guess). However if that ban is wiped away and your back at zero then your chances of being a referee in the big leagues at some point is still there.

So what's the latest on Flyers front? Still waiting for Doan I see. Don't want him for anymore than 3 years 15 mill. Good luck in Pitt or NY then.
