I did not know that. I would think though that it might have an effect on Hodgson, since him Gerbe and Ennis seem to have forged a relationship when Hodgson got traded here. Hodgson said how much they made him feel like he was a part of the team. He said he never got that kind of treatment from any of the guys in the Vancouver locker room.

Not trying to be a jerk of anything, but this only suggests that you dont read the posts. As for Jamie Benn, he wants to stay in Dallas (they signed his brother).

I would hope so. But at the same time, what Ennis might be able to do is still a better prospect than what Cullen or Brodziak can do. Though Brodziak may still have some upside we haven't seen yet.

If for some reason we get Ryan without givong up Ennis, i'll be shocked and half this blog will blast me because I said it starts with Ennis but i'll stick with what i've said. I've seen what the Hockey Insider guy has posted but from what i've heard it's Ennis and I think most have seen it written on other blogs as well. Like I posted last night if I'm wrong i'll be the first to admit it.

True. My point was more being made for Brennan. He's just been down there way too long. Like we need more offensive dmen. 2013 I can totally see Pysyk and Mcnabb here for Leo. I don't think Regehr will leave either. Leaves Sekera's spot open. Both young D are/going to probably be more valuable than Weber.

I absolutely read the posts, you cant think of things being so absolute as in Benn will say no. I would love to have my brother come work with me, but if another job came up on the other side of the country offering $7 million dollars a year, I just might consider it.

And as I said, if nothing else it would put some heat on Dallas to potentially overpay to keep Benn.

Yeah I def prefer Brodziak to Cullen, but we all know Darcy has a big interest in Cullen went hard after him in free agency a few years back, we shall see I think something is def going on in Pegulaville.
