Where in his post did he compare them? He simply said that Gretzky was traded before. Meaning that if a guy like that can be traded, ANYONE can be traded.

Edit: He said 3hrs ago he will be back with what the Sabres offered for Ryan.

I don't think that trading Ennis for Ryan would be bad, but at the same time I'm not sure they should do it either. I guess either way it works out, I won't be upset. I just wonder what happens at center without Ennis. I realize that he's only played 27 games there, but who else do we even have at this point that we can put there? Other than the 2 very big question marks that we drafted this year?

I really think Brennan or Shiestle (sp) will be involved. They don't seem to have a place on the Sabres.

I agree moving Ennis who is not a true center would leave a huge whole unless Darcy has another move up his sleeve.

Kassian was a prospect obviously showcased for trade.

Sure it does. Every single one of the 'regulars' as well as others know his stance and would rip him for it.

(Schiestel) involved in what? The guy is nothing more than a depth signing for us, and is 100% Rochester bound. He is in no way a part of any deal, of any kind.

That's the only part that makes me nervous. I know we have some guys coming up through the ranks now, so the situation isn't quite as dire. But I don't see Regier trading Ennis right now. If he hadn't traded Roy, then sure. I'd say he'd do it. But not with the current make up of the roster.
