Why is a first so much? Unless you plan on drafting in the top 5, it's like baseball's draft, a crapshoot. Draft picks in the NHL are way too overvalued.

That's not too much at all. All those pieces are expendable especially for Ryan.

If they were asking for Krejci and Lucic from Boston, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they want Vanek,Sekera...although a 1st is a lil much

no i like leo, but he will only be here one year longer in all probability, whereas Sekera may be for many many more. I think Stafford, Adam and a 1st are fair, adding sekera too much, leopold i will take the bad deal

Well I think he gets more wrong just because he reports all the different things he hears and it's not as if multiple teams can sign a single player, only one team can go through with the deal. Thus he's going to be viewed as wrong a good amount of the time because of all the other teams that were speculated to sign a player or make a trade and didn't get it done.
