Do you actually watch the games? I have issues with all of the Pens players...Even the ones that are scratched...
- Flyfreaky

I am not talking about you sitting in your house watching with a bowl of pop corn and a beer. I am talking about the players on the ice. The issues always with Crosby, ever since he entered the league. Like I said right from Hatcher to Forsberg to Richards to Giroux.

There has never been any ongoing issues like there has been with Crosby since the minute he entered the league. I'm not even referring to "dirty plays." per se. Early on in his career with Forsberg and Hatcher and even into the issues with Richards it was about the way he carried himself on the ice. During the Richards time in Philly and now into Giroux it has kinda shifted towards the dirty play.

I just find it interesting that from one captain to the next here in Philly, they have all had big issues with Crosby... yet like you said Malkin may be the dirtier player and never has there been any ongoing thing with Malkin.

Just find it interesting.

Meh...they probably have to sign an agreement stating they will loathe him in order to have the "C" stitched on to the sweater...

Why would the Preds trade Weber to the team that forced their hand into signing him? They have to pay so much for him upfront..if he plays there at all he becomes more valuable after the 1st few years

They won't. They'll trade him to Pittsburgh out of spite.

I agree. The only way I see him being traded to Philadelphia is for an enormous return, far more than the Flyers have been willing to part with thus far.

you named 4 great players that Crosby is better than. Perhaps, when frustrated, they dont handle it as well as the lesser players that get dominated by crosby.

Maybe its the fact he is averaging close to 2 points per game against the Flyers for his career.

Please listen to yourself...So we've never gone after Letang, Talbot, Cooke, MAF, Orpik, Malkin, Asham, the coach, etc...No issues with any of those guys...Come on...

Oh snap. Blackhawks fans taking Flyboys behind the woodshed.

You're now an honorary poster here, congrats.

Sorry. There's dignity in it though. I would have prefferred not having 4 picks inside the top two 4 straight years. That was tough hockey to watch. But when you can't sign anybody because you have no money that's what happens.

JVR was a #2 pick. You lost that lottery to the Hawks for Kane though.

Sam Gagner? Kyle Turris? Jakob Voracek?

Kane and Couture are the only ones from the first round that have really panned out.

That draft was pretty weak actually. The best player out of it was picked in the 5th round.

Jamie Benn in the 5th round. There have been 3 players from that draft to make an allstar game. Kane, Couture and Benn.

You are correct what a brutal year.

Are you sure about that?

I'm looking here:http://www.nhl.com/ice/pl...&status=&viewName=summary, don't see Crosby at all, and see G is 4th, behind Kings and Devils players that played 2 full rounds more than him.

Maybe I'm missing something...

Well it helps when you can pad your stats against a team with no defense. Fleury gave up 26 goals in 6 games, compared to someone like Quick who gave up 29 goals during his entire run. Lundqvist gave up only 1 more goal than Bryz in 9 more games.

So all the offensive stats that Penguin or Flyers players put up are very skewed. Anyone would have had those numbers.
