holy poop enstrom extended?? That blows....he would have looked good in O&B next year, Damn we need there to be a few legitimate UFA defenseman next year to go after....scratch one from the list.

Once Edler gets extended the market won't have much.

I was lookin at Da Man@ Da Man for hockey updates.

I think the Flyers will pitch Doan. Why not? He's worth a look no doubt.

Ryan is still the target I would imagine.

As mentioned, Flyers will have cap room absent changes and they could make a deadline deal. Maybe even Ryan at that point.

Read is good. Not great.

Wow Doan reportedly wants 7.5 million a season for 4 years if he leaves the Coyotes. TSN is reporting this. That is crazy! Who does he think he is?

The last truly desirable game-changing option in a market where demand still significantly exceeds supply?

Way to much time to worry about 2013 free agents at the moment.

what's the deal with the Preds junior Weber, Roman Jossi? Any chance they make a trade with him involved? Flyers have interest, yay or nay?

The Preds hate the Flyers right now. Odds are they want Giroux now.

I guess this weekend will determine the Phillies as seller's? They still think they have a chance?

- stveshdy

Stay the course.

After this year they lose Blanton's 10.5 mil, Polanco's 6.25 mil, Victorino's 9.5 mil.

That should give them enough room to fill in some needed holes and keep the pitching intact.

They have 95M tied up into four players next year. The Phillies will still have no bullpen or role players that can hit.

The only way to improve is to move some more salary or open the check book even more.

Victorino makes less and so does Blanton.

Plus theres no reason for them to deal thos guys....their entry level contracts and they have a solid core of young forwards, they want to keep their young D

K now I don't feel dumb for that K so what do you think they'd entertain to trade him? from a Flyers perspective of course.

Well unless they are full of poop about being willing to pay weber that sum of money all along, I can't see how they could be mad, sir.

lots of salaries that bump up though...maybe not as much room as you think. They are not going to trade Lee to Texas for that 3B and its a damn shame. Should have never signed Lee.

I'm sure they rather pay Weber that money evenly throughout the contract. Forking up that much money in the first six years isn't going to help their cause. You do what you have to inorder to keep your best player around.

I heard that he's in the lead to be paired up with Weber this season. Doubtful he's traded, especially for the money he's making.
