just like we all thought, don't lie.. Lou did nothing. We lost a great piece and brought in nothing. Just like last time.. and the time before that. its sickening.. YAY we're a playoff team almost every year, yet we're not a Cup contending team almost every year. Great players usually make a good team better. Just another year of being the underdog. I like the underdog, but its easier when you have more than just a little confidence in the team.

It was fun when I was a kid and in my youth of high school. We were winning Cupsss, going to the Finals, had the solid leadership of Stevens, Dano and Niedermayer. Things were consistent and there was always a strong reason to believe. Then people retired, people left, people kept leaving, and we replaced them with bums. A few good trades here and there but Lou likes to sit and watch free agency pass him by and take some of his players with it.

yep. looking at the list.. if we can't get Doan, which we won't.. Huselius and Sykora are the best options. not freaking Barch, but we've already crossed that bridge.
Lou said he's still interested in Sykora.
SO, we'll get Sykora and have the same team as last year, minus Poni and Parise, add in Tedenby and Barch.
