Would it be legal to trade an unsigned Ennis++ for Bobby Ryan and then sign Ennis to a deal that Ana wouldn't match, a max deal, and then have Ennis come here and restructure his contract to what he really deserves. Its crazy but it might just work

The GM also said that he expects Derek Roy to come into camp healthy and ready to go. Shortly thereafter he was traded.

He won't sign for that for 3 years. I see him signing for 1 year for 3 million or Buffalo has to give him the Voracek contract for 4 years.

This is for a player that has potential to score 25 to 35 goals and about 35 to 40 assists this year....he will get more ice time with Roy no longer here and if his line continues to click, they will help Buffalo get into the playoffs.

Murder implies that he acted with the sole purpose of killing his teammate. He didn't do that. It was reckless, very reckless, and in no way excusable, but not murder. That's why I call him "Captain Manslaughter" instead.

Agreed......TSN guys seem to think the focus is still on Doan because Buffalo has the best offer, but Doan would like to see how serious teams are about getting to the promised land now. If Reiger acquires a significant player soon, Doan's interest will peak....the same message was probably conveyed to NYR and Philly and NYR got the job done, so they may now have the inside track.

Vanek and Adam to Minnesota for Heatley and Brodziak; then Heatley to Anaheim for Ryan; sign Doan and you start to challenge. Just my own proposal based on what I hear is out there.
