Either way the Canes win, Sutter, Staal, two good players.

I don't think that even scratches the surface of what it would take for both.

Ennis, Hodgson, Myers, Sekera (because why not?), two 1sts, and I think it would happen. Not worth it on our end, IMO. We're looking at 2/3 of what has been one of the top 3 lines in hockey for the last few years.

Getz had 11 goals last year. Ryan is a young 30+ goal scorer. Every team in the league has enough value to aquire them. The issue is that ANA doesn't have to trade them because theyre under contract. Their GM is holding out for a mind blowing offer and Darcy doesn't have the stones.

One source I really trust believes NJ is the leading candidate now...I also must add I keep hearing not to rule out the Capitals in this. It's cool. We'll bomb, then put up just enough of a run at the end of the season that we miss out on the post season again. Then the front office will blame injuries or the weather or the price of crude oil...etc etc. We'll draft around 12th again and talk about which free agents we didn't get.
