I think his mega deal will keep him happy long enough for Nashville to try and put together a contender. They did pretty well last year so they aren't that far off. Will he stay there for the entire 14 years? That im not sure of. The preds will want to get some mileage out of this deal with it being so heavily front loaded. - funmaster18
i hope thats the case for their sake. It looks like they are willing to spend now. I dont know though how long theyll be able to keep it up if they dont start seeing some kind of windfall from this. I suspect their loses if they continue will put them back to reality. |

I suspect as they loose more money wilson will gain a larger share of the pie...Once he has majority control he will move that team to canada that same night...where the real profits are. Nashville fans are kidding themselves if they think wilson is looking out for their best interests. hes just dreaming of the profits that are going to come in a canadian market. that team is gone in 4 yrs max. |

I'm not a fan of the name Bobby in general. Bob, Bobby, Robert, Roberto, Robbie, Bobbie, etc.
No flavor there. |

Philadelphia general manager Paul Holmgren says he does not plan to pursue any restricted free agents, such as the Rangers' Michael Del Zotto or Montreal's P.K. Subban, but he hints that he would like to trade for Anaheim's Bobby Ryan. "I don't think there are any Shea Webers out there that are left in that category," he said, "so I don't see that as being an option, certainly this year." As for Ryan, however, Holmgren intimated that trade talks for the winger are not dead. "You are asking me to comment on a player on another team. I don't think I can do that," he said. "We look always to make our team better. We like our team. We are trying to add to our team without subtracting if at all possible, make it better yet. We will see what the rest of the summer brings."
