There's four pages of just Garth bashing in this thread. Most articles don't even get four pages of comments.

Every one of his blogs has 300+ posts. You can hate all you want but Garth is a character and characters draw crowds.

no it doesnt make sense. if its true its a horrible strategy concidering this isnt poker and you dont make a decade long commitment to someone you hope you dont get. plus why wouldnt they want suter if they wanted weber? they wanted an upgrade and tried first to get one without loosing assets.

the one issues i noticed was: His first couple steps were slow during the season. But i feel like Gary Roberts will help with his acceleration problems much like what he did with stamkos.

Weber is not going to be traded anytime soon. Frankly he has little choice as to where he wants to play because he doesn't have a no trade/movement clause in his contract. He has Philly to thank for that. If he wanted out that bad he would have come out publicly and said that or would have sucked it up signed a 1 year deal and became a UFA next season. Why sign any offer sheet if you know your current team can match, the answer is you wouldn't. Won't matter anyway because the Preds are not going to trade someone they paid 27 million to and only get one year out of him. Just another typical uninformed big market hockey blogger casting stones at a small market team that he has no clue about it's new ownership, front office, and fan base.
