To break down the nash trade....

Dubinsky=Bozak

Anismov=Macarthur

1st Rounder= ours probably not 2013 prob 2014 or a decent prospect (colborne? biggs? ashton?)

Tim Erixon= One of Franson, Holzer, Blacker, Percy

Would probably me similar of a trade for Bobby Ryan... add a soft pick to that collection then theres probably a deal

- Mapleleafs_91

A clue, you should get one.

At least he isn't on the 4th line where he would be ABSOLUTELY useless

I agree with JBold.

I don't think Kadri starts the season on the second line.

Imo, with the lines I just set...Mac and Kadri are interchangeable between 2nd/3rd line depending on who plays better with who.

If great = 40 points then it's possible.
I predict he starts off on the third line (second PP time) and hopefully plays well enough to get second line minutes later in the year.

Mike Rupp was on the bench when Crosby got dropped, didn't stop anything. Fighters can't hit back since they are slow and have 3 minutes of ice-time, so why should I fear a guy who will not see any playing time and who I could just say "(frank) you I won't fight." If the fighter jumps him then he gets the instigator and the guy is laughing. Aka Kaleta/Avery/Lappierre who are the masters of this. How did the Habs do with George Laraque the best fighter in the league? Nobody would fight him so how is he protecting his team? The 80's and 90's are over.

wait a second he changed his mind then.
From two pages ago.

No. Kadri doesn't get the 2nd line wing position as long a MacArthur is on the team. its either 3rd line for Kadri or the AHL.

He's not taking a proven 2nd line wingers position, and that 2nd line winger isn't going to be played on the 4th line....

My point stands.

I changed my lineup and put Kadri on the 2nd line and Kulemin on the 3rd.

thats the exact line up i had, cept i said unless we have trades, so all i did was put Mac on the 4th line instead of Rosehille (who is still an RFA).

so lets see...resign rosehill, and sit mac in the press box.

or put mac on teh 4th line and slot him into the 2nd and 3rd line every once in a while...

THE INSTIGATOR RULE IS STUPID HEAD!!
- Dozzer

(frank) the instigator, the chicago way, kill the penalty as a team, send a message to the rest of the league, give 110 %, leave everything out on the ice.

- big_dion

Yeah, lets put a 50-60 point winger in the pressbox because baby Kadri needs top 6.

Next, we'll sit Grabo for 10 games, so Colborne can come up and play in that 2C role.
