Another good idea for that top 10 is Ellis.

Loved that guy in the memorial cup. Great attitude, solid play and some offensive potential too.

Have an opinion on that guy B-Hud?

Edit: Well just realized both him and Bournival are in "honorable mentions".... I should have read the whole thing.

Improved a heck of a lot this year. Mobile skater, good hockey sense. He's strong and can outmuscle. Flashes some nice transition passes. Think he's a 4-6 Dman though, who's more of a PK'er, who won't see PP time.

I agree. PK should be a 4-6 dman.

Good call.

I thought the leafs didn't need a number 1 center since they have a proven commodity like JVR.

Nice blog!

Agree, good prospect are coming up for Montreal in near futur. But let's not forget that management is also part of the equation in order to be succesful. Bergevin need to keep up the good job. Can't wait to see the outcome Bourque, Kaberle and fans favorite ..... (sorry, I can't even type his name no more).

All I want is for Toronto and Montreal to hate eachother in the playoffs... no more battle for 3rd overall pick.

The league is a better place when both teams are winning.

Connolly is in a contract year this year, should be good for at least 70 points

Dalton Thrower... he sounds like a villain in a cartoon.

Collbert third? I'm not sold on this guy right now. A lot of people talk about his amazing finishing ability but the stats just don't support it. Why do you think he's the real deal?

Played low minutes in a league that was above what most prospects play in. He's just got unreal speed and shot. When he played against his own age (U18s and WJCs) he was lights out.

I think he's promising, only player I'm more excited for is Galchenyuk.

The way I look at it, the only time he hasn't put up numbers was when he was playing in the elite league as a 13th forward. Sure you'd hope he'd pick up the odd point, but given that he's put up impressive numbers at every other level when he's given a chance I think he's a great prospect.

Next year will be a good benchmark to judge him by if he ends up moving up the roster in Frolunda.

Great list I just wish gallagher was a little bigger because the kid goes to the net and takes a beating. I watched him live this year and when you see the abuse he took in the w you wonder if he can handle that in the nhl.
