I'm not being cocky and arrogant... I hate Kesler and his stupid diving... hes too good to be doing that poop. There are a lot of things about the Canucks that bother me... but right now this team has a good opportunity to win the cup.. their window is closing and I'm getting anxious.. I've been a fan for about 15 years.. and overall the quality of hockey I have witnessed has been great... and right now.. all this team has left to prove is winning the cup.

I shake my head at people who think Lu wouldn't help your team... that they don't care about missing the playoffs... or that they see no difference in making it to game 7 of the SCF or missing the playoffs. Those are stupid comments.

i will correct you. canada was behind edmonton and calgary but not ottawa. so much is media related and hnic is too critical of vancouver. when the lose the contract and tsn takes over saturday night, things will change for the better because national coverage won't be leaf based.

I'm a pretty level headed fan... I admit the shortcomings of this team.. and that our fanbase is mostly filled with idiots.

I'm not going to pretend like this is the best team in the league... but when TO fans start a pissing match about which team is better and their only argument is 0 cups... 0 cups... 0 cups.. or throwing pictures of rioting out there.. it tends to get old. Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion.. but I try not to let blind hatred get in the way... I actually like Kessel... I feel he is better than people give him credit.. also I'm a big fan of Grabo... and would love Gardiner on my team. I think Dion is a mistake.. and that Reimer is more of a 1b type goalie. Ya dont get me started with that game.. I was there. In my eyes... Daniel Sedin was the biggest disappointment in that finals. He was pretty much one of only healthy top 6 guys.. and played invisable... We had I believe 7 guys have surgery in the off season that year.. a lot of guys banged up.. and the biggest loss was Hamhuis and Edlers broken finger(s).

IF we had won... we would have been the lowest scoring team to win the cup in post-expansion history. You can't win a cup with 8 goals in the final 7 games.

They were behind Ottawa more than Vancouver.

You won't win with that core. It's still the same main guys. Schneider's decent but doesn't have a huge body of work, especially over a full season as a number one. Garrison has 16 goals and 17 assists on his resume. I know he had a few points before last season but you guys locked him up after he had a decent season playing in a non hockey market with no pressure. He's a question mark.

What does Toronto's core have to do with what I said about Vancouver? I already said Vancouver was a much better team. Taking a shot at mine doesn't change the fact that Vancouver's ship has sailed for the time being.
