In all honesty, I'm a Schneider fan.... but Luongo is a great goalie and will help the Leafs make the playoffs next year. Gardiner, Rielly and that 1st don't do that. So having said all that, the Leafs win this deal.

Gardiner isn't being moved. Burke has decided he will be a building block.
Rielly is our top prospect, a 5th overall pick in a fairly deep draft for D. He won't be involved in any deal.
A first may end up in the Luongo deal, although I'd rather it not be. But that's about the maximum you'd get. If a first is in the deal, it will be a first and a low prospect. If it's not a first, you'll be looking at a salary dump, a middle prospect and either a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

Look at what Bishop got. Considering Schneider wants out, less than that.

So, a 3rd for Schnieder, or a 2nd+Komi for Luo. GIllis has a choice to make.

I just jokingly offered a flyer fan in my sim league Luongo for Gardiner, a 2012 1st (roughly 14th overall) and a 2013 1st. He told me to stop pestering him with stupid offers, that if I wanted Gardiner, I'd have to do better than that. Flyer fans must be as delusional as Leaf fans hey dshiddy?
