These rumours keep popping up because we dont know if reimer will bounce back. If we get bernier, we have bernier, reimer, scrivens all fighting for the number one job along with backup or they can even share the load of games. With Luu on the other hand, i dont think were ready for him but he could be a huge help. Really doesnt matter to me which route burke takes for goalie, he will pick one of bernier or Luu at the end of this all.

They are soft players and i never wanted them to come to toronto and im happy they didnt because they didnt seem like a good fit for the leafs anyways. They make a team better in the regular season, but are wayy too soft for playoff hockey. They need to be insulated, but gillis has done nothing to acquire a brown/lucic/Doan type player.

Its like how Spezza will never lead a team to a cup.
