can't judge that trade for at least 2-3 years. Cody has issues... Lindros type family.

The wife and I are trying to lose some weight and be more healthy, more of a "changing our eating habits/lifestyle" than just going on a diet. I was 170.5lbs (I'm 5'7") as of July 15th. I weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 161.5lbs now. That's nine pounds in like 10 days. I could understand losing that much that fast for a guy who isl ike 300lbs but it's just peeling off. It's not like I've totally cut out carbs or anything stupid either, just basically actually paying attention to the calories I take in and eat less than I burn in a day (i.e. you burn about 2100 with just regular daily activity so I try to eat 1600...anything over 1600 I have to burn off with exercise).

Toughest part: I've had literally two glasses of wine in two weeks...no other booze, not even beer!

At that Height, what do you think your natural weight should be? I'm just shy of 6'-0" and I've floated around 190-200 ever since I was 20. I know as a non-professional athlete lol that my natural weight should be around the low 180's I'm doing the same thing eating the right portions and staying away from deep fried mars bars. I'm 190 now after a couple weeks of trying so I hope soon to be down to 180.

We didn't know about the issues until after the trade.... no idea what was going on.

I loved Cody and hated the trade when it happened. But knowing what I know now, I understand why this deal was made. I trust our GM, he knows what he's doing.

Kassian is a raw talent, Cody is much more developed then he is at this point, but we will have to wait and see before judging the trade.

Power forward wingers always mature late, never been a fan of using top 10 picks on them, I like using 20-60th picks on them though. Now power centres, that's a different story. I'll use a top 10 pick to take a centre every time. Unless he's not the BPA. Which is why I had no issue with passing on Grigorenko for Reilly.
