Except for the Kassian/Gragnani trade for Hodgson/Sulzer, trading with the Islanders for Erhoff's rights, Trading Butler/Byron for Regehr, Roy for Ott. No none.

vanek, myers, miller for duchene, johnson, varlmov and a pick - SabresFaninIndiana
Vanek>Duchene
Myers>Johnson
Miller>Varlamov
Johnson has been called a borderline bust.. Duchene is younger with potential so I might give you that one as being very close.. Varlamov has been considered one of the most inconsistent Goalies in the league.

Johnson is only considered a borderline bust becuase he was a 1st overall pick.. he is a solid dman. yes myers is probably better but also makes a lot more and is currently not that much better.
Vanek being better than duchene? i would consider them comparable and duchene is a center and younger with more potential.
Varlamov maybe inconsistent but what is miller?
and we get a pick.
i would have to think long and hard about that offer if it were presented to me

When Varlamov was with Washington did he win a few playoff series? Even if it isn't due to his superior goaltending but just the offense that WSH has had.
Duchene for Vanek I would like because yes Duchene is younger.. has size.. has put up good point totals..
Johnson for Myers is a very tough pill to swallow in my book.. Even if Myers doesn't score a ton of points.. or always lay the huge hits... Myers does not get out of position frequently and give up easy shots/goals like Johnson does.
could be true... but judging by how harsh some are on our talent we should never have been able to pull of some of the trades that we have..
especially Roy for Ott
and
Byron and Butler for Regehr, Kotalik, and a 2nd rounder.
and
Kassian and Grags for Hodgson and Sulzer. - JVince11
I never bought into the story that there was no offers for roy, that trade produced about as much as I expected
looking back on the regehr trade, I still dont think we won it since we also ate a big contract and gave them cap relief. If Butler is a 3/4 d man for the next 10 years it will be a wash
the nucks went all in on kassian and lost
at first glance it was a fair trade, then selzer surprised everyone here and the nucks let go of grags right away. This was a perfect example of not holding onto a player too long, in kassian, and move him when you can get the most value for him

Roy for Ott was just a puzzling deal. Roy gets the points but everyone knew he was out of favor .. i think that deal doesn't go if we don't take pardys contract from them..
the regher deal was just a salary dump for the Flames.. the only reason that deal went was because we took on Kotaliks TERRIBLE contract.
The Hodgson deal. if Kassian lived up to the hype and sulzer didn't become what he was in buffalo that would have been a very fair trade.
