Of course, and there's a good reason for that...
When your mom straps it on, she straps it on Big. - wolfhounds
i don't see how that even qualifies as a mom joke.
taking it in the ass, is taking it in the ass, under any circumstances you dolt. admitting you take it BIG doesn't help anything.
really? being a sour female dog doesn't make that any less pathetic.

(frank)- you think your team and TO are smalltime... Every player available has Burke quoting whether or not they are coming to the white and blue... you big 3 (TO, Philly and NYR) have been living the dream since the mid 90s with UfAs...That is tiresome and sickening but now there is hope... for today anyway... then Nashville declares bankruptcy... - saskoil21
Big difference my friend. Firstly, I'm not sure the Leafs and/or Burke target the top players that come available, but rather people/fans speculating that they are.....and dreaming up scenarios/trade ideas accordingly. Secondly, and most importantly, no matter who they target, the Leafs never get anyone. |

Preds lost $7MM last year. You're talking about a $20MM-$30MM loss this year whether they play hockey this year or not. Then $10-$15MM for 3 years after that. That's without signing the UFA's and RFA's they have coming due. This is the problem when you locate a hockey franchise in an area that will never have an interest in hockey. |

i dont think the ducks will trade him unless they get back a very good deal and "win" the trade |

Funny how last week Holmgren was being lauded for being a GM that just gets things done. Makes big splashes to get his guy. BUt a week later he's left with nothing. The sad part is, the Flyers had the pieces to get a deal done, Couturier, Schenn, Simmonds, picks, etc. To me that's a pretty big misstep, he basically ensured that Weber is never going to be a Flyer just because he wasn't willing to pay full market value for an elite player and sneak in the back door. He's a great GM, one of the best in the league, but in the end I think he's gotta come out kicking himself on this one. |

I figured they would get a deal done.
But, without Weber Flyers are very thin on blue line. Some issues in goal. They better do something over the next 12 weeks.
Forget about Ryan, they need some D. |

They definitely have an interest & good fan base - the problem is the franchise lost money every year but one (last year they lost 7mil). Now they're going to lose a historical amount of cash this year with Weber & the lockout. They signed Weber to make a statement they wouldn't be stomped on, but it could destroy them financially. The best thing they could have done was trade Weber + Suter a year ago for 2 or 3 A+ prospects each. They're playing with fire in Nashville. |

well they want a 2nd center so Couturier or schenn + a lot more i just dont see the flyers giving up those young players especially since they said they dont want to trade either. |

couts and schenn are untouchable, wouldnt trade them straight up for the best defender in the game
so he has missed out on suter, weber, parise........let carle, jagr go
