Calgary would be a good fit. Young forward with a good shot. You don't have a bevy of young forwards as it is. I say do it. Don't let any of the powerhouse teams go after him.

1st- CGY trades Stajan, Babchuk to MTL for Gomez and reaquire our 2nd round pick

2nd- CGY offer sheets Benn with a heavily front loaded 12yr. contract avg. 6.1mil with something like a 12mil signing bonus (just to remain under the limit for that compensation group, 1st, 2nd, 3rd.)

I thought the same thing. When a player is restricted, they have to respond to contract offers in which the team offering has already put forth the compensatory picks. Correct me if I'm wrong.
