The paterno comment was uncalled for, as far as the banned after 1 comment thing, that seems a little bit too over the top.
I think the difference would be that leaf fans seem to be a bit too emotional and quick to fire off an insult against someone else, or like the leaf fan above who was cursing at some one.
If you don't want to be banned don't insult people, keep it civil and you should be able to get a couple good natured ribbings in

I'm always accepting criticism from non-Leaf fans as long as it is constructive and honest. It's just that majority of actual comments are filled with'Kool-aid, Delusional, Parade" etc etc.. what' the point? I mean if your coming on here to talk then talk right? I've never gone on another blog without having something to say. |

Save them for after Labour Day when the kiddies go back to school...Leafs threads always devolve into a bunch of pasty, overweight kids in their basement filling time between 'enjoying' the more exotic sites the internet has to offer...and making inside jokes with their chat room friends while their parents are at work and they can stay on the computer 7 or 8 hours at a time. Keep up the good work fellas! |

Boston didn't have any superstars when they won the Cup. Just great overall depth, good defensive systems and fantastic goaltending from Tim Thomas.
It's the goaltending part we really need in order to get to the next level. I am not convinced anyone we currently have can be anything more than average. For once I would like to see our goaltending stats be at least middle of the pack.
By my calculations if our team save percentage was at the league average last year we would have allowed 42 fewer goals and probably made the playoffs.

Kadri has played 52 games with the big club. Scrivens has played 12. Not sure how either of them has passed the prospect stage.
