Morgan Rielly was on the TEAM1040 Vancouver and Don Taylor asked him what he'd been up to. Rielly said he just got back from Leafs Prospect camp. Taylor replied, were you the only one there? - Scooby_Doo
OK, all douchebaggery aside, that's funny. |

I don't get how people have 3+ accounts... doesn't it force you to have a cell #? WHO HAS THIS MANY CELLS?!?!
But yes... if you're not here to discuss PROSPECTS in a civil manner, than just leave. - Brian Huddle
I'm not sure how that works... do you need a different # for each account? |

Exactly...Burke doesn't have a clue what he is doing...let's overpay for guys who are overrated past their prime and injury prone...the way Burke is running things is not the way you make a contender in this league. - broadstreet11
Just go away. I don't gives a rat's ass about discussing Toronto right now. I'm here to blog about prospects, and discuss them with people who actually want to chat about junior hockey and college hockey, etc.

Wait a second, with that level of precognition you must be Mr. Burke!
Nice to meet you, good job on not overpaying for that over the hill pos "power" forward Nash. |

- wolfos412
His NHL comparable is Halak.

Burke should be fired. The Leafs have been in a rebuild for 11 years now and this is the best prospect group he can collect? What a joke...none of those guys are big difference makers that will make this team a big dog in the East. Burke needs to figure it out and start making some big splashes in free agency. - broadstreet11
An honest opinion from a guy who watches a ton of Marlies and junior games, refreshing. Thanks! |

Who cares about whether they pan out or not, I'm not referring to that. I just dont feel they are prospects anymore. They've both had some time with the big clubs, they're more like depth players now....not prospects....thats all I'm saying. - Fakepartofme
I'm sure most Leafs fans care whether or not they pan out, hence the reason people read this blog in the first place.
Kadri has played 52 games with the big club. Scrivens has played 12. Not sure how either of them has passed the prospect stage. |

we were like Calgary is now for a while competitive enough to stay out of the good draft positions, yet not quite good enough for playoffs. but i must say it wasn't too long ago our top ten prospect list had names like John Mitchell, Jaime Sifers and Robbie Earl |

Actually, we have a pretty decent future ahead of us. Just because there's no prospect who will turn into a top line center, doesn't mean its all doom and gloom. - jbold
Well it's better than it was a few years ago.
Kadri is a bit of a disappointment though. If he doesn't make a mark on the team this year is he considered a bust? |

Put them at 11 on my list. Above average, but don't have enough "elite" talent to jump into the Top 6-8.

Everyone is excited Kadri is working with Roberts. Although this is great as he can probably put on 5 or so lbs of muscle. Roberts can only do so much during one summer to get him ready.
He isn't going to come back with an 'NHL body'. It will be on Kardi to be committed on his own, especially with a proper & clean diet.
I hope he can, unless he gets traded then at the point I don't care. |

It says a lot when the Leafs have more sunk into there payroll then the Rangers and Pens ...and where has that gotten you? Burke needs to be fired. - broadstreet11
Look at the Leafs team prior to Burke, and look now...
Then come post again...
You will realize how stupid you sound...
Burke has done A LOT for this Leafs team in the 4 years he has been here. |

Not trying to troll here just bringing up something Leaf fans just turn there head to...you are all little Joe Paterno's...Leaf fans settle for whatever they are given and thats the problem with the whole situation...ownership will continue to give you a medicore club each and every year because they can...Leaf fans don't get it. |

I wouldnt say so hopefully Roberts can get him into shape but my guess it'll take this summer and next to get his body NHL ready. So if he isn't impactful this year I don't think all is lost |

I really think the Leafs should trade Kadri while he still has some sort of value to other teams. |
