Pretty good list but I think Colborne, Biggs and Ashton are a little too high based purely on their size. People always say that you can't teach size but those three guys seem to be lacking in the offensive part of the game too much to be as high as they are. Usually, that lands you on the 3rd or 4th lines. I think both McKegg and Ross have shown more than where they are ranked. - Two_For_Truth
Oh UG.... Never can be half full on anything, I just hope you aren't like this in real life. Twice divorced? |

I went through the first few pages, and it never ceases to amaze me. There are some phenomenally stupid people in this world.
“LOL, Kadri the number 2 prospect” and “wow, that’s a funny list”. Out of Canucks and Flyers fans???? You might want to take a look at your own list there, pal. You’ll find it quite pitifully bare, with barely anyone that would even make the Leafs top 5.
Then, LEAFS REBUILDING FOR 11 YEARS!!! FIRE BURKE!!! Okay, this is just the pinnacle of stupidity. A) claiming a team that was in the conference final and conference semi-final was rebuilding is pretty braindead. B) Burke has been the GM for 3 ½ years, genius. |

Haters gonna hate
Personally, I feel the Leafs have a pretty deep talent pool when it comes to prospects. We lack in the elite level talent (possibly Reilly) but have a number of guys that will contribute in the NHL one day.

Almost as stupid as claiming that a 22 year old with 200+ NHL points is an AHL level player at best.

My favorite is all the Burke bashing about his cap management. Hes gained some good assets from taking random salary and trading away signings.
plus he'll have like 30mil in cap space in the first off season of the new CBA. but because philly and NYR have sick rosters at the cap, Burke is a terrible GM. |

Maybe maybe not.. if the kids can make some improvements, and next years offseason roster is something like:
Lupul-JVR-Kessel
Kulemin-Grabo-Kadri
Ashton-Colborne-Frattin
With good depth (and youth) on D, Burke could sell it to FAs as the start of the drive towards the cup. |

Plus teams like Philly, NYR, SJ, and Chicago could be in a position where they HAVE to trade some big contracts just to work within the new CBA. |

I would sign on in EDM, Carolina, Colorado and Tampa. Teams that have bright futures, and need a piece or two to start the process of being a contender.
And as for the cap: Look at the rangers salary in 2013/2014. Their cap situation is the same as it looks today, but Derek Stepan, McDonagh, Carl Hagelin and Mike Sauer are all RFAs and will need raises. |

I think Grabovski with JVR and Kadri would make a great second line. |

Well if Winnipeg is looking to sign Kane at 4.8m for the next 6 seasons why not throw in an offer of 5.8 - 6mill for 10 years with ridiculous bonus money like these other fools have been receiving. It's worth a shot. I'd love a player like Kane or Benn even at 6+ million. Unless Burke has some sort of trade brewing, he would be a fool not to make an attempt. |

Anything with Leafs on it has become moron central. They female dog about the crap signings of Army and Komi and so on, then female dog about him not doing anything this year. Um, duh!! Those that talk about Burke failing because he didn't top the NYR deal for Nash should asks their caregivers why that doesnt make sense. It's nothing but nonsense . |

THey have quite a bit of cap room right now and even if it drops it will rebounds for next. Remember if the salary cap goes down so do the salaries accordingly. |
