Not trying to troll here just bringing up something Leaf fans just turn there head to...you are all little Joe Paterno's...Leaf fans settle for whatever they are given and thats the problem with the whole situation...ownership will continue to give you a medicore club each and every year because they can...Leaf fans don't get it.

I honestly can't imagine how much time I'd have to have on my hands to go into an article written about a team I'm not a fan of, just to rip on the fans of said team.

Seriously, is this really what you're doing with your time?

I'm pretty down on him these days. Development stalled this year. He could have gone to the AHL to progress more, but the CHL transfer agreement blocks that.

Wish I knew a bit more about Montreal. That being said I know a bit about Gally-- and if he's gonna play, play him at center. The quicker he learns his duties both offensively and defensively, the better.

- Brian Huddle

if any player was on the Erie Otters who had a future, they too woulod have taken a hit in the points department. Mckegg had like a point a game on the worst team in the league, and after being traded to London he was a beast.
41 points in 30 games and 11 points in 15 games in the playoffs!! amazing what playing with teammates can do! im just suprised you didnt have mckegg in there at all, he stood out more than most of those top 10's at the leaf camp not too long ago, 2 goals in 1 game if i recall.

Thank you for your opinion.

I'm of a mind to play Gally at center too however pushing Eller to the wing is going to slow down Eller's development, most likely. Some people will disagree but i believe Eller will be a 2nd liner much like Plekanec, PP, PK and defensive missions. It would be a shame to put him aside just so the poster kid can get the 3rd line center spot.

Two wrongs dont make a right.

So dumb is not allowed? I've seen people get away with a lot worse. I guess it all depends on the poster around these parts.
He has 143 pro hockey games under his belt...almost 2 seasons worth. He's a rookie...but not a prospect.

- Fakepartofme

You have to seperate NHL from AHL. Granted, the A is professional in the sense that the players get paid, BUT, if you don't think Kadri is there as a prospect (meaning he is being developed for a main role in the big club) than you are flat out wrong. Take a poll bud, how many people you think will agree with you?

If he doesnt make the jump next year, THEN I will agree with you. But at 21 years old, the kid is a prospect. Period.

It doesn't matter, as He will play another year in Junior and then a year in Hamilton.

Watched a lot of him though. Points came, yes.... but his game is really based on the PP and being opportunistic, sneaking in to open slots and scoring/making plays in tight. I have a feeling his game won't translate to the NHL.

Just a personal opinion. Numbers aren't everything to me.

Haha. We have money put away for the honeymoon already. I just have a very traditional family who wants us to be married in a church (they don't drink alcohol either), so we're trying to make everyone happy.

Plus it's her day, and she wants the traditional wedding.

- Brian Huddle

If it's traditional... then her parents should pay for it!!!

Agreed, think he might not see the AHL if he has a real good season and training camp next year.

They're helping, but it's going to be a fairly expensive wedding. We're on for certain things.

Brian, what do you think the Leafs do with Rielly? You think he has the maturity and skill to make the Leafs next year, or do you think they do him right and send him back to junior?

And I hear you know my boy Kyle the Reporter?

mind boggling you can be so high on a guy who would be a nhl 4th liner at best and so down on a 80 point centerman.

The worse part is saying to the wife every 30 seconds, who the hell are these people in the receiving line when you let the parents pay for the wedding.

Who's a 4th liner at best?

And 80 pts in the OHL does not equal 80 pts in the NHL. He's a great OHL'er. Does that mean his game will translate to the NHL? No. And that's what scouting is about. Figuring out how a game translates to the pro game.

I hope Rielly goes back. He needs to, after missing most of the year. It'll do him good to light up the Dub, play for Canada at the WJC's and then come to camp next year hungry for a job.

And yea, Kyle's awesome. We talk a lot. Solid dude, whom I respect a lot.

Joe Colborne = Brian Boyle 2.0? They seem to share a lot of qualities.

Very well could be. I think ultimate he's a mix between Berglund and Hanzal. Cycles well and can play a defensive role like Marty, but has pretty soft hands for a guy so big like PB.
