Ya. To me a player who has played that many games in the AHL and that many games in the NHL (although Scrivens hasn't played a lot in the NHL - so maybe he could still be considered a prospect) simply shouldn't be labelled as a prospect anymore. Kadri is a young depth player for the leafs right now, I hope he can make the club full time this season....he deserves it, he has some great hands.

Ya its used to develop prospects and depth players.....but its PRO League non the less. Someone who has split over 100 games between the two leagues, I wouldn't consider a "prospect". Kadri is a young depth player right now who has yet to reach his potential (hopefully), he's been with the organization for 3 years and has played a lot of pro.
Hopefully he plays more with the leafs going forward.

Save them for after Labour Day when the kiddies go back to school...Leafs threads always devolve into a bunch of pasty, overweight kids in their basement filling time between 'enjoying' the more exotic sites the internet has to offer...and making inside jokes with their chat room friends while their parents are at work and they can stay on the computer 7 or 8 hours at a time. Brian, got a question on Finn. Heard he's the man on D for Guelph. You think if he could get some help on D he could play less minutes, be less tired and focus on his offense game a bit more? Not that it's bad but Girardi isn't really known for his offensive prowess.

That's the consensus, yea. He plays a lot and because of it, has to do too much at times. Granted Finn is a good offensive player -- 6th in OHL D Scoring behind Hamilton (BOS), Ceci (OTT), Sproul (DET), Schmitz (CAR) and Murphy (CAR).

But I'm sure the same didn't apply to Hodgson last year when he was in the exact same situation as Kadri.

the general rule is 50 nhl games.. so kadri is right there.. he has to make the jump this year

Have seem him play, not live, just vid. Knew he was on TO's radar last year, but he returned for another year. He's small and weak and very perimeter. He has a tough uphill battle, but has some skill and upside. Do I think he'll be much? Probably not.

But it's worth the gamble for the next two years.

I actually got drunk wih his junior coach last week in PEI. Abit random, but it was fun. Said he was a great kid. I spose they all say that, but he spoke the world of him
