That's a brutal offer for a young 40 goal scorer. Just because he wants out that doesn't mean Murray is going to take the first half-assed offer that comes his way. This isn't Nash. He's got a more affordable contract and no trade restrictions as far as I know. Someone will give up a lot for him.

My point is this, you cant package together a whole bunch of $hit pieces and think that a ton of $hit equals gold. At the end of the day poop is still poop...no gm will want 2 of our bottom tier players plus a prospect plus a 1st rounder (presumed to be a very late 1st rounder given that the team wants to go deep into the playoffs)

he has the capability of being a good 2C....no more. he couldnt handle the 1C spot. not good enough yet. i do think he could handle a 2/3C role no problem in the right system with the right wingers.
