Don't worry the great CBA that owners wanted and got in '05 will prevent this from happening to them.

Cant wait to see the next cluster(frank) of a CBA should be great.

They should do revenue sharing just like in any other major sports.

Bof... It's making things ridiculous, all of a sudden if you draft and trade well you (frank) yourself over when you have to re-sign those players and you wind up having to dump some of them or they just take off as UFAs. The Hawks cup winning team was amazing and they had to dump everybody. It's nearly impossible to sustain a championship calibre team anymore, all for the sake of letting piss poor franchises feel better about their sorry asses and still set a budget under the cap.

Maybe it's because I pull for a big market team, but I'm not fond of the cap, maybe if they raised it a hefty amount I wouldn't be complaining, but that would defeat the purpose.

Those dynasty years are long

IMO, what really dilutes the talent is the number of teams, rather than the cap.

Doug Maclean just said Minny can't afford to pay Parise and Suter if there's a lockout.

Wasn't he a master of the CBJ franchise for a while?

Can't say I'm a connoisseur, but from the gins I've had, it's one of the best, and it's made in Quebec.
