Not sure what the problem is with enjoying a drink with Gin, lime juice and sparkling water in it, but hey, whatever floats your boat I guess.

Call me frugal, or even cheap for that matter, but I think spending too much for water is unjustifiable.

Not a very big fan of Gin, but a Gin and tonic works well.

Wasn't a big fan of gin until I started tasting stuff lie Hendricks or Tanqueray 10. Much smoother taste and the blend of spices is more "balanced" I would say.

Pete , if you're going to try a cold soup this is the one. do you like bloody cesar's ? not exactly the same but if you like the taste of cold tomato juice you can't not like gazpacho.
really easy to make and cheap during the summer months.

No, I'm talking about the fact that if they stick a fancy, foriegn name on it... sheep like you will line up in droves to spend 10x as much for it unbeknownst that it's made in your own backyard.

Perrier is from france, Pellegrino is from Italy and, you wouldn't know this but, St-Justin (probably the best of the 3) is cheaper AND made in Quebec. same with Eska...

So, you were saying, what exactly?

A lot of the bitterness comes from the tonic. But I swear, try a Hendricks or something, on ice, with just a little lemon or lime juice.

It's heaven.

Tried a really good Czech bottled water once, or i think it was Czech, left over from a party, woke up parched, found it in the fridge, drank it, fast, burped, scratched my nuts and went back to bed.

My point is that you are an elitist. God forbid you save money and buy a no-name brand that practically tastes the same.

You are the same way with your beer... always have to drink the obscure stuff.

I bet you don't even mind blue-collar beers or water but you just won't admit it because you want to impress everyone.

(frank)ing pretentious twit...

Use regular salt, i guess? Not a fan of celery salt either, too many bartenders kill them with too much Worcestershire and Tabasco IMO.
