If it was a diffrent D man included instead of Erixon I would have said Columbus di well. I just dont know why Howson agrred to take him. He will likely never make the nhl and has an attitude problem.

Don't know if he has an attitude problem. He wanted out of Calgary. Sounds like the kid has his head on straight.

In any case, MDZ or Staal would never have been part of it, much less Mcdonaugh.

Still... fedor tyutin really? it's poop like this that makes us look dumb, thats a big contract for a moderate player , he's worse than smid, smid makes 2 and was happy to take the contract aftera horrible season.

He's overpaid by about 500k maybe 750k, nothing drastic.

I could really careless if people make fun of it on TSN, people make fun of all sorts of crap. Doesn't make it right. Fact remains we have all question marks in our top 4, Tyutin isn't a question mark.

Smid is s defnsive d-men and there contracts tend to stay low, Orpik is the best physical defensive dman and he gets 4 mil. top pairing as well

I will board the tyutin train, as long as it's not Hempsky. Tyutin is available too, it's the only strength columbus has and he's be close to a number 4 there now.

Why are you worried about salary? The only number that should matter to a fan is cap hit. And a guy who's less than a million overpaid is not that overpaid.
