Nuge is our number 1 center, they will give gags a chance at number 2 this year and if he doesn't work out the we go shopping for an upgrade.

The problem that they have now is the same problem they've had for the past 10 years and that's guys playing too big of a role. Dubi and Anisimnov aren't 1st liners, but they'll get put into that role at some point.

Ideally CBJ just goes with 3 offensive lines and plays the hotter line on any given night. Trying to make a top line isn't going to work for them.

Nash was pretty decent defensively, probably not as good as Dubi but he spent years learning under Hitchcock.

Klef - MAY stay in Sweden. He would like to make the big club this year. Potter was doing well until he got injured. Pekham is a fringe nhler. I dont get the Sutton hate. He's huge. Hits hard (gets the raw deal on suspensions due to his size) and remind me just how many Oiler Dmen were on the plus side last year? Sutton was plus 5! I think he is in the bottom pairing for sure.
As for why to move Hemsky - too many RW. Yaks and Ebs are the top 2 RW. Might as well get Hemmer out now and get something for him.

Nothing wrong without the Nash deal. Considering the public knowledge of Nash's desires and his albatross contract I think Howson did ok. Watch Columbus be like Fla. was last year now. Zero expectations and little star power but an overall better team. Sather sure does like big salaries.

If it was a different D man included instead of Erixon I would have said Columbus did well. I just dont know why Howson agreed to take him. He will likely never make the nhl and has an attitude problem.
