Rags fans are rejoicing in Levine's blog.
I always thought they underestimated Dubinsky though. - Morris
Sure, but when you get Nash for him and some spare parts who cares?
Dubi has a big contract and would've always been an over payment in NYR. At least in EDM or CBJ he'd get more use and make that 4+ mil a bit easier to swallow. |

Eberle is a RW, why whould you move him to LW when he had a productive season at RW? Makes no sense |

Dubi could flourish in CBJ now that he doesn't have to play 3rd line winger like he did last season for Rangers |

For sure, but why would you attempt to move your most consistent fwd from last season?
I would move hemsky first
plus according to clouts hemsky is in play |

That's a horrible return... - Starbuck
Not really. They get two guys who can play in the top six, a very good defensive prospect and a 1st. Star players really don't go for much these days and as far as I'm concerned 7.8 million a year for ~65 points and not much else shouldn't be worth much. |

Klef is staying in sweden, Sutton is terrible, I like Fedun but let him play in AHL for a year, Potter is meh and peckam is basically hordi as a dman. - Oilfan19
Klef - MAY stay in Sweden. He would like to make the big club this year. Potter was doing well until he got injured. Pekham is a fringe nhler. I dont get the Sutton hate. He's huge. Hits hard (gets the raw deal on suspensions due to his size) and remind me just how many Oiler Dmen were on the plus side last year? Sutton was plus 5! I think he is in the bottom pairing for sure.
As for why to move Hemsky - too many RW. Yaks and Ebs are the top 2 RW. Might as well get Hemmer out now and get something for him. |

I don't know who gets moved. You can make a case to move and move each guy. Just try them all out and which ever works best is what you use. Who knows maybe Hemsky goes a line with Smyth and Horcof and Jones is in the top 6. Struds and Gregor talked about how Jones has the game to be a bit of a grinder with the kids. |

No he has said hes staying in sweden, people have been saying tambi is trying to pry him over here. Sutton is big, thats it. I like Potter but if we got the chance to upgrade him I would. I agree with why we need to trade him but not on what you believe the return would be |

LOL. HockeyyInsiderr is putting together a website to compete with this one. I rather doubt Eklund would be friends with me still if I was doing that. |

Jones did play LW last season for a good 5 game stretch.
We saw what happened to Erik Cole when the oil decided to try him on the left side even though he had played his entire career on RW......epic fail |

Honestly, the writing was on the wall that he would end up in NY. It was just a matter of who and what the Rangers were going to give up. Figured Dubinsky would be a piece because of his contract. |

I agree, I think the Rangers made out well, just some people are acting like they just traded Nash straight up for Belanger. Those two guys will get nice expanded roles in Columbus and New York will make the Eastern Final and have three 90 point players. Book it! |

Jones played LW before coming here. He made note of that on twitter as well.
Cole is why I'm worried when I here one of Hemsky/Eberle/Yak will just switch sides no prob. |

The problem that they have now is the same problem they've had for the past 10 years and that's guys playing too big of a role. Dubi and Anisimnov aren't 1st liners, but they'll get put into that role at some point.
Ideally CBJ just goes with 3 offensive lines and plays the hotter line on any given night. Trying to make a top line isn't going to work for them. |

I really hope not his speed on the outside really helps push the defence back creating space for the rest of his line. |

Hall to center makes little sense IMO. Then Smyth is your best LW? |
