I remembering being a kid and trying to collect Sabres cards during the 80s and 90s and being all like WTF is with these names? Do they try to draft these guys based on the idea that the less common the name, the better the player?

I'm shocked so many people have such an issue with others reclinging their seats. I'm 6'3 and I got,no issues if someone wants to recline.

C-Bus got a decent return

The Vanek/Nash comparisons always get pretty heated and varied around here. So, with that, Sabres fans, if C-Bus had considered Vanek on par with Nash, would you have been happy with this return for Vanek?

Dubinsky is a good 40-50 point guy, plays his a$$ off every game and is a leader.

Anisimov is a huge, skilled pivot with 60-70 point potential (he's only 24)

Erixon is a top-2 defenseman when he's ready to go (he's only 21)

They received a 40 goal man in return for 2 15-20 goal guys and a future top-2 defenseman.

I think the deal is fair.
