Never know Terry may have Pegulla air waiting in Pitt airport
- hafgod

The thing is if he does visit here I like Terry's chances on selling him on Buffalo.

The question is can he convince him the Sabres are in the championship mix in the next couple years. Teams like Philly and the Rags are being very aggressive pursuing top notch players.

Don't worry folks, we have the "core" locked up and remember that Sekera according to HFboards was "a BIG scorer in junior 6 years ago". In 3-4 years these propspects are going to rule the NHL, buy those season tickets.

Despite the leadership void Doan would fill, he's not the best fit for the Sabres. They already have 3 high salaried right shooting wingers.

I think they go back to Dallas after Morrow
1 year left gritty some leadership perfect third line center stop gap to kids coming up

- hafgod

he plays lw

I am ok putting him on the second line and dropping foligno to the third line with ott and let one of the kids center that line

but we are still stuck with leino

I pick Vanek to be moved. I want a more aggressive player. Vanek isn't it .

Since Pagula has bought the team Darcy has been amazing, he's picked up Regher a washed up Rivet clone, Leino a purse holding sloth, a washed up Boyes, a gritty veteran with 3 career playoff goals and traded for a center who can't skate or go hard into the corners even though he works out with Gary Roberts(Gods gift to the world).

I can sense a "signature move" coming soon. Maybe re-signing Mike Grier

And Pominville and Stafford are?

Vanek is the best winger on the Sabres. The team takes a step back without him unless he's replaced by a Bobby Ryan or Rick Nash.

Miller getting traded?

Ott new captain?

moving a dman?

offer sheet?

I can't wait....

Scott missed so many birdie putts when he was 4 and 5 strokes up. He really could have put it away. He should have never been in the spot he was in.

Thank you!! Vanek is one of the toughest SOB's out there. Nobody sits in front and gets dirty goals like him. Sick and tired of this angle people take. Just because he doesn't drop the gloves or clean someone's clock, doesn't mean he's not "gritty". You need guys like Vanek. 40 goal scorer who isn't afraid of the blue ice. He better stay.

he has also fixed a wrong with rochester
opened the wallet
allowed regier to sign free agents like roy and flynn to add prospects to the farm
pursued and attempt to make top offers to free agents like richards, suter and parise

with all due respect, peggy has done as much as anyone could ask for a team that was heading down a path of the islanders
