If Heatley gets traded to Columbus I'll laugh my ass off. It's so wrong on so many levels. |

Have you seen the contract Weber got? - AceRatbang
At least he's 26 & it's front-loaded. Nash has the same cap-hit well into his 30's as Sid - 8mil/year |

Hah! Get Weber Homer and Rags have to swallow down the overrated Rick Nash's huge contract. - Richieattack18
Talking about a huge contract? Don't you think Weber's contract in Philly
would also qualify as a grossly HUGE contract as well?? |

The one guy who is going to come out of this looking good will be Howsen. He has stared everyone down. Sather is about to fold as we all knew that he would. Howsen will have his way with the Ranger player he wants. The only guy who routinely gets suckered into taking players on the downside of their careers is Sather. How many guys can you put on the list? Lindros, Gomez, Redden, Drury and on and on. Soon you will be able to add Nash. But when he gives up a future star like Krieder (which he will) people should stand up and say, enough! - spatso
Now sathers FA signings have been pretty bad in the past. Can you pease show me the horrible trades he made in the last years giving up on the kids? Oh wait you can't |

My bad - 900k difference. Still, Crosby's a much better player & younger. Big difference in talent & not a big difference in salary.
I'd be pissed if the Flyers traded for Nash - not worth 7.8 per even with all the big contracts handed out this year. He's just a piece - a big one - buy just a piece. You pay guys like Crosby, Malkin, Stamkos, Ovechkin, Giroux that kind of coin when they're due - not Rick Nash. |

Sadly for all the Bryz haters the NHL is going to include an "amnesty clause" in the CBA & seeing as we're backed by Comcast we can just amnesty Bryz in a year or two and eat that salary no-problemo without any cap penalty.
Have you guys seen the money printing factory next to the Wells-Fargo Center? It's called x-finity live - good day to you, haters. |

He was a deal breaker before he ever even signed, why would that change now? The players mentioned above were all acquired via free agency. |

Good day.
You must still be thanking the hockey gods. Getting rid of Richards and Carter to make room Bryz |

Contracts like these would constitute a healthy and lengthy lockout, IMO!
