NYR are in on Nash Weber Jagr Richards Gaborik and on and on. They have their hand in on everything. So by offer sheeting them we either take away one of their young stars or we tie their hands for future stars available.

I don't believe his rumours , but I do think he is sometimes ahead of the MSM in breaking the news of signings.

I asked him to be a MOD on his new site. My asking price was fair . I asked for season tickets to the Canucks front row behind AV. He said he would get back to me.

I love offer sheets. Huge fan of them. If a GM doesn't have a player signed or extended before they hit RFA ,then they deserve to be OS .

Edler, our best d-man, should settle and extend for Garrison money.

Then we should sign Carlson or Del Zotto for $6 million per (Even though both provide what we already have... D by committee... Neither are even close to being big minute legit #1's...).

I hope this madness is just a product of a slow & boring offseason.

Are Weber Parise and Suter worth 100 mil
Is Doan worth 6.5 mil.

I think there is a very small group of Canucks fans who think Edler will take 4.6, I personally would lock him up this summer for 5.25-5.75 over 7-8 years but that's just me.

I think Hammer is Vancouver's best D, but it is a different market right now, so I would have no problem paying Edler more than him.

What's better than all of the above is going after E Kane or Benn and sticking with the D we already have. If you're going for D by committee, why overpay for the youngest unproven addition?
