How you feeling right now about getting Weber?

No reason to trade any roster players. If Nashville matches and wants to cripple their franchise fine by me. I would love to have Weber for the price of 4 picks, not all that interested in trading a package of players for him and bailing Nashville out.

If Nashville matches so be it, Flyers can re-sign Voracek and pursue Doan. If that doesn't come to fruition enter the season as is, and have some cap room to play with and reassess the needs at the trade deadline.

I find it interesting that his agent came out with Shea wanting to come to Philly. The os was signed. He was making his money. He could have sat back and let the two teams go at it. Interesting.

I drove 40 miles each way from my house. I had to leave at the ass crack of dawn. My entire commute there in the morning was in the cloak of darkness.

If the Flyers have to give up a package of Voracek, Meszaros + for Weber, there really isn't any other ways to fill the vacated holes in FA this season. Many people do not realize that. Weber is a great player, but he can't cover up all the holes that will exist if the Flyers have to trade a package of players for him.

Jagr, and JVR are already gone, if the Flyers trade of Voracek, and perhaps another top 9 forward the depth up front will have been severely compromised.

I admit I'm looking at this transaction short term, acquiring a talent like Weber doesn't come along often, so I have to have an open mind to giving up some talent to get him, I think it will disappoint me slightly because I do not think the Flyers have to give up anything other than the picks. Nashville is bluffing imo.
