Eskin does a good job at getting info, but he doesn't know the sport that well.
Meltzer is the one I read first, although I read most of the others, too. I think Leed does a good job for a guy that isn't a regular beat guy. Dave Issac does a good job too. - Jsaquella
I think Dustin Leed's been pretty good as well. Of course, Bill is still number one - BulliesPhan87
yeah, bill is by far number one. i like leed on twitter. tim p is useless at this point, all he does is complain. sam and frank arent great but not worthless.

I pay no heed to Tim, Sam, and Frank. I don't respect their dramatic stylings.
One of the most important questions I have in this entire scenario is. Are the Flyers prepared to walk away without getting Weber? - MJL
Absolutely not! You will never get this chance again. It will happen. Holmgren is too smart to bluff. He has to make the offer too sweet for Nashville to walk away.
I wonder a lot about that. I think that the desire is burning really hot. - Jsaquella
I think so also. That can be both bad and good. This is so interesting to see how this is going to play out. It's also amazing that nothing is leaking out.

But they are Twitter guys correct? They may break things as far as what happens. But what do they do as far as analysis is concerned? - MJL
He's on twitter, and writes for The Hockey Guys. He seems to know the game well enough. He and Todd Cordell (writes the Devils on hockeybuzz) make interesting hockey conversation on the twitter.

I will again ask you then. Why didn't Holmgren do that before going the Offer Sheet route. If he was prepared to make that kind of offer, why didn't he do so already?

I think you over value what Homer will give up...Probably going to the Read Voraceck Mezaros Gus MAB players....I dont think he will give up Schenn or Coots period
