Has Nashville made up their minds yet?

Yes, but not telling until late Wednesday.

If we give up Mezzy there won't be a logjam.

I just see no reason to include a top four D man if Voracek is going to step right in and be a top line forward for them. Plus picks on top of that too much.

Jake and two 1sts or the Schenns and one 1st.

just looked and LSchenn actually has a modified NTC. Wonder if Nashville is not on that list.

edit: nvm doesn't kick in for a few years.

Luke's modified NTC is in effect for 2015-16 only so he's good to go.

I would think that with Nashville losing both Suter and Weber. They would want a defenseman in return.

but not an injured D man

Just as a general statement
Keep in mind, Schenn is 22. A player can only be eligible for a Movement clause when he's reached the point of being eligible for UFA status. Which is 27 years old, or 7 Accrued Seasons.

Please stop with he schenn bros talk. I really doubt homer would do that or that it would be required given our leverage here.

I would want B Schenn, Coburn and 2 firsts
- vejim

If I were a preds fan I would want Giroux or Coots or whoever, but thankfully for us the fans dont run the team or make the decisions or even understand how the system works thats what makes them fans and not GMs

If by that you mean Mezaros, he already played since the Surgery, I'm sure he's fine by the start of the season.

I think he would be nuts to do so. But I'm afraid that he would do that.

I hear ya but you have to think about it, is Weber worth those two? I would say yes. Even tho I don't want to see it happen nor do I think it will but if so, I'll get over it fast as I can say Shea Weber is a Flyer.

He is next on the Offer Sheet list and if not they will offer sheet him anyway to make a point

because of the potential leverage gained by the offer sheet.. or just in general, in terms of player value?

would you make that trade if it was under normal circumstances (no offer sheet out there)?

Well maybe he would but as a total last resort. I hope he can play the rest of the hand he dealt and minimize the trade back. Give something fair-ish that puts a band aid on the wounds of the fans (which will need stitches and staples) and marginally mollifies the league so that we can get out of dodge with our prize in hand.
