But how many cups do the nucks have? - Leaffan8113
Didn't stop your captain running out of that franchise as fast as he could. He couldn't tear that blue rag off his back fast enough.
Sorry, what was your question again? |

The CFL is a Canadian league that has 8 teams better than the Buffalo Bills.

Stopped reading at the Columbus trade. You need them to do more for you? You realize you are giving them an albatross right? What are you going to do for them is more like it. Don't act like you'll get something worth while for Lu. |

im sorry man but this is ridiculous. typical ian, your blogs are great and i applaud how you can see it from other than a vancouver-driven perspective. im not a huge fan of offer sheets, but i mean they are what they are so teams might as well use them. however, this upfront bonus stuff is just so ridiculous. its one thing if youre doing it for a team's own superstars, but if this kind of thing isnt corrected, teams without huge pockets are just going to consistently have their stars plucked right out from under their noses. they might as well do away with the whole concept of RFA in the first place, because it offers relatively no protection anymore with the advent of these "bonuses". these bonuses shouldnt even be allowed. they are popular in the NFL, which is understandable, because contracts are not guaranteed. |

And everyone cares about the Bills
They actually brought that crap team to Toronto and had to give I think 40 000 tickets away for free to make it look like anyone cared .

Offer sheets are part of the game. GMs need to take care of business before they become RFAs . If they don't then offer sheets are valid. |

Carlson would be a great deal. RHD would give a lot of options.
You would also have to move Edler and Ballard .Edler could be the center piece for our top 6 forward trade. Edler Luongo for Sharpe Leddy
Sedin Sedin Burrows
Booth Kesler Sharp
Jensen Lappiere Hansen
Volpatti/Pinizzotto Manny Kassian
Hamhuis Bieksa
Garrison Carlson
Leddy Tanev
Schneider
Ellis
Offer sheet him Carlson - VANTEL
Agreed. Carlson should be the only player Gillis should think about offer sheeting. No way would Galiadri let Aquilini take Benn. Kane would be nice but has some character issues and he's Winnipegs franchise. |

i dont view offer sheets as the devil, but this whole well in a calender year you will receive 2 payments of 10 million crap with a base salary of one million for 40 percent of the deal. i dont exactly like those kinds of deals in the first place, but when used by a large market team to carefully construct a sheet so as the other team has no financial means to match i dont like. why bother having a salary cap anyway to level the playing field if it can be so easily manipulated? |

Huh? What is the CFL? - anthj99
Cfl is a league with 8 teams or less. It is a league that doesn't include the best players from all over the world. A league where it is impossible not to win a few championships. It is the only league left ff its kind. There used to be others |

Agreed and it opens up 8.5 mil because we couldn't resign Edler at 5 mil + next year as some peple suggest. So trading Ballard for picks and trading Edler would be ok with me if we got Carlson |

I think it was a brilliant plan by the Flyers and sort of jealous it wasn't us that did it. The fact is Poille should have had his franchise player locked up long before he was offer sheet prone. Poille also failed on Suter and should have locked him up or moved him by last years TDL.The NHL offers out awards for managers of the year . They should offer Poille an award for worse manager of the year. |

How much would be to much for Washington. Also, How much is to much for the Canucks? I'm thinking it'd have to be 6+ for Washington to not match and is that to much for the Canucks? Given the amount of discounts currently on the team? |
