Chances are very high that the current Penguins roster will not be the one that enters the 2018-19 season. So far Jack Johnson and Matt Cullen have been the primary roster moves. Even after those signings it appears there is still interest in Anthony Duclair

Anthony Duclair continues to weigh options. Unclear if decision comes today or not. Montreal and Pittsburgh among teams he's spoken with.

This is from two days ago and I still like the idea of adding somebody for the fourth line that has shown a pulse offensively in the past. Pittsburgh still having interest in Duclair has the potential to be tipping Pittsburgh's next move. The chances are greater than not that Pittsburgh will still make a larger impact trade and it is reasonable to think that Derick Brassard could be a part of that. With Matt Cullen back in the fold perhaps the team is confident in Riley Sheahan being the third line center while Matt Cullen centers the fourth line with somebody like Anthony Duclair. I don't think this scenario puts Sheahan or Cullen in the best spots to succeed (for Cullen I'm not sure where that spot is).

Regardless of larger intentions Anthony Duclair on a minimal contract seems like a good bet to make considering what the fourth line options were last year.

Wolfram is also the director of operations for the NWHL and he definitely knows his stuff. It's great to see him dive into the blogging world as I think there's a niche for this kind of information.
