The Panthers are back in the win column after defeating the Nashville Predators by a score of 4-1 on Monday night.

They will take on the Arizona Coyotes when the desert dogs head to South Florida tonight.

Bob will get the nod and be looking to find his form again after allowing 10 goals on 65 shots throughout his last three games.

Sports Illustrated has a great piece that covers important stats for each team. Below is some of Florida’s info:

Florida and Arizona Stats

The Panthers score 3.2 goals per game (15th in league), and the Coyotes concede 2.9 (13th).
The Coyotes put up three goals per game (135 in 45 games), and the Panthers give up 2.6 (120 in 46).

Florida is sixth in the league in goal differential, at +26 (+0.6 per game).
Arizona is +3 overall in terms of goals this season, 15th in the league.

The Panthers have conceded 27 goals while short-handed (killing off 82.24% of penalties), and the Coyotes have scored 32 power-play goals (successful on 23.02% of opportunities).
Florida Impact Players

Florida Impact Players

One of Florida's most productive offensive players this season is Sam Reinhart, who has 58 points (34 goals, 24 assists) and plays an average of 20:21 per game.

Carter Verhaeghe has accumulated 46 points (one per game), scoring 24 goals and adding 22 assists.

Aleksander Barkov Jr. has 46 total points for Florida, with 11 goals and 35 assists.

Sergei Bobrovsky has a 2.6 goals against average, and 825 saves. His .908 save percentage ranks 25th in the league.

Panthers Injuries

Nick Cousins: Concussion Protocol (Out)
Gustav Forsling: Personal (Questionable)
Aleksander Barkov Jr.: Lower Body (Questionable)

It should be a fun game. Arizona is coming off two wins, and at 23-19-3, they are right behind Nashville for the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.

Of course, all the talk has been about Sam Reinhart — and rightfully so. #13 is on a tear as the Panthers most dangerous offensive weapon. He currently sits at a career high 34 goals, with 36 games still left to go. He is currently on a 10-game point streak that has him at 11 goals and three assists.

What’s more…he’s playing really smart hockey. He’s not getting all these points by pure luck. He’s going to the right spots on the ice and making/capitalizing on opportunities. I’ve been impressed by how much he’s been going to the front of the net.
