Pegula's Attitude is Infectious

It's still hard to believe what Terry Pegula and the Sabres organization have done since late February.

Hockey Heaven is just beginning, and players around the league have taken notice. Ehrhoff, Regehr and Leino all came here knowledgeable of what has been going on. Players want to come here, which is something that hasn't always happened.

The Sabres are actually spending money right up to the cap this year, and are likely not done.

Again, this is just the beginning for Hockey Heaven. The next few years are shaping up to be the most exciting and anticipated that I have ever seen. The only exception I can think of was heading into the '06-'07 season.

But this is something so much different. I remember how thankful I was of Tom Golisano for saving the Sabres from bankruptcy. He was at the games often for a while, but then you didn't see much of him. And then Pegula came along.

Pegula's confidence and determination to win is infectious, and he continues to prove over and over again that he is willing to do whatever it takes to bring the Cup to Buffalo. He is living a Sabres fan's ultimate dream. Not only does he get to be "GM for a day" everyday, but he is bringing it to a whole new level.
