How much better will November be for Buffalo?

What did we learn from October?
That was probably the worst month of hockey I have ever seen the Sabres play. A whopping two wins (both on the road) does not make Ron Rolston look good. One of them was a shootout win, leaving Buffalo with a lone regulation victory.

This team is on pace for their worst season in franchise history. I've talked about that before, but do they have a shot at the worst team in NHL history? Probably not.

The 1974-75 Washington Capitals went 8-67-5. in their first season in the league. As bad as the Sabres have played, they can't be worse than that Caps team. I see Buffalo winning about 15-20 games and even that far surpasses that Capitals record.

We learned exactly what suffering looks and feels like. Rock bottom. Ryan Miller is likely to go next, and it's just not fair that he is still on this team.

The Sabres have led for a grand total of 18:16 this season. That's not even a full period of hockey.

They've trailed for 563:54 and have been tied for 319:40.

What's in store for November?
John Scott and Patrick Kaleta will be returning at some point, whether or not you think that is good or bad news.

Before I start detailing the November schedule, check out this wallpaper that Philipp Marquardt created for Sabres Hockey Central.

The Sabres head to the west coast for a quick 3 game road trip. Get ready for some late night hockey as Buffalo will play San Jose, Los Angeles and Anaheim.

What I'm excited for, and probably most of you are, is the home and home set against Toronto on November 15th and 16th. After what happened in the preseason, those dates have been circled on my calendar and should at least make for some entertaining games. Buffalo plays the Maple Leafs three times in November. They also play the Ducks and Kings twice each.

With 13 games on the schedule for November, my question to you is how many will Buffalo win? I have to say they win more than two. I'll go with four wins.

As always, thank you for reading!
