New York Rangers prospect and Boston College forward Chris Kreider broke his jaw in the Eagles' 4-0 win over UNH tonight.

It happened in the middle of the second period when his teammate, Brian Gibbons, made a clearing attempt along the boards in the neutral zone. Kreider had stumbled while turning around and on his way down, caught the puck in the face. It was apparent immediately that he was in serious pain and headed off the ice as soon as the trainer could get to him.

He is at the hospital now, but the severity of the break has yet to be determined. He is out indefinitely.
