Quick Update: Ladd Leaves Practice

Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune tweeted within the hour that Andrew Ladd left practice early today (no explanation) and soon-to-return Dave Bolland was centering Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa.

Now, there could be quite a few explanations for this: an injury, an urgent call from Ladd's Mom, anything.

But, with speculation swirling around the Blackhawks acquiring any one of Sean O'Donnell, Niclas Wallin and most recently Pittsburgh's Jay McKee, Ladd being an RFA this offseason and Bolland's impending return further complicating an already very crowded Chicago forward depth chart— Ladd could be headed to O'Hare as we speak.

Will update as I hear anything. Again, this could be nothing. But, it is that time of year.

STAY TUNED.
